Lost or Stolen Passports/Visas

If your passport and/or visa have been lost or stolen, you must:

  1. Obtain a police report from local authorities to bring to the interview.
  2. Obtain a new passport.
  3. Make a new visa appointment.  Visit the How to Apply section for directions on how to make a visa appointment.  If you have emergency travel, please use the Emergency Appointment Request directions.
  4. Appear for your visa appointment.  Please see the Visa Category Section for information about the various visa categories and the required & optional documentation for each.
