  • Due to a consular systems upgrade, consular operations at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and all nine consulates throughout Mexico will be closed to the public on Friday, October 9.   

    Additionally, the Applicant Service Centers throughout Mexico will be closed from Friday, October 9, through Sunday, October 11.

  • Starting  October 4, 2015 the Department of State will lower the processing fee from $17.00 USD to $16.00 USD for the Border Crossing Card (BCC) for Mexican citizens under age 15 whose parent or guardian has or is applying for a BCC.
