What is CAS?
CAS stands for "Centro de Atención para Solicitantes" or in English, the Applicant Service Center. You must have an appointment at the Applicant Service Center and an appointment for your consular interview.

If the applicant is unable to appear at the Consulate at the scheduled interview date, he/she should contact the applicant service center to inquire about the possibility of obtaining a different appointment. Rescheduling an appointment may result in a significant delay in processing your visa case. You should try to reschedule your appointment only if absolutely necessary.
