Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval arrived in Mexico City
On Sunday July 14th, Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval arrived in Mexico City with a delegation of economic development representatives as well as private sector companies and Nevada university representatives. During three days of meetings and events, they met with Government of Mexico officials, Mexican universities, trade associations and private sector companies in order to establish and deepen existing political and commercial relationships. The private sector companies represented various industries including construction, food, pharmaceuticals, legal services, software, and oil platform equipment. Some of these companies used the U.S. Commercial Service’s Gold Key Service in order to meet with potential Mexican business partners.
Ambassador Wayne hosted a reception at his residence welcoming the Nevada delegation. Guests included Government of Mexico officials as well as Mexican private sector companies representatives. One of the highlights of this mission was the signing of an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the state of Nevada and the state of Mexico for increased cooperation in education, tourism, manufacturing and mining.
