Ambassador Garza Welcomes U.S. Under Secretary of State Karen Hughes to Mexico

Ambassador Garza welcomed U.S. Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Karen Hughes to Mexico for a four-day visit, February 12-15. The first leg of her visit took place in Mexico City.

On the morning of Monday the 12th, the Ambassador and the Under Secretary toured the museum of the Aztec main temple or "Templo Mayor," and the exhibit “Revelations” at the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso cultural center. Above, the officials receive an explanation about the "Coyolxauhqui" sculpture, a key asset of the "Templo Mayor" Museum.
