“The holiday season is a time for sharing and giving thanks for our blessings and the good works of others. I’m delighted to be here along with the Marines and U.S. Embassy junior officers to provide a little holiday joy for these special children,” said U. S. Ambassador Garza.

Embassy junior officers, as well as the U.S. Marine Corps, collected toys from the Embassy and local Mexican communities; the toys were handed out directly to the children of the Asociación Mexicana de Ayuda a Niños con Cáncer (pictured above), and the Casa de la Amistad para Niños con Cáncer.

“These charities represent the true spirit of the holidays; each day they work tirelessly to provide a care and a better future for these special Mexican children,” added Ambassador Garza, here at the Casa de la Amistad para Niños con Cáncer.
