Amb. Garza witnesses signing of agreement between organizations that aid critically ill children
The agreement between Medical Missions for Children and the Telethon Center for the Rehabilitation of Children (CRIT), signed on June 17, 2005, allows physicians at CRIT hospitals to consult with medical specialists in the United States for purposes of discussion, diagnosis, and treatment of severely ill Mexican children.

“Using state–of–the-art technology, children waiting for critical medical care are now only a teleconference away from the most experienced physicians in the United States,” said the Ambassador, here with a young CRIT patient.

In back, Ambassador Garza, Frank Brady and others listen to the explanation by Foundation President Fernando Landeros who guided them on a tour of the facilities. Guests were also able to observe a satellite link-up with Guadalajara as a demonstration of the newly-acquired technology.
