Amb. Garza hosts reception for Lolita Ayala

recipient of the 2005 "Mr. Amigo" Award

Ambassador Garza hosted a reception in honor of
News Anchor and Philanthropist Lolita Ayala on the
evening of January 29, 2005. Ms. Ayala had just
been awarded the 2005 "Mr. Amigo" Award for her
many years in television news, as well as her
work with the needy.

Raul Velasco, veteran TV personality and "Mr. Amigo 1974," also
attended with his wife as guests of honor.

Edna Tamayo, Chair of the "Mr. Amigo" Association, and her husband
Ed Tamayo flank Ambassador Garza.
